Cyber Security and Payment Fraud Prevention

Verification of Instructions. We will communicate with you primarily via email and our secure portal. However, cybercriminals frequently target professional practices and clients by intercepting emails and sending fraudulent payment instructions. For the purposes of cyber security and payment fraud prevention:

a. Verbal Confirmation Required: You agree that you will not act on any email or electronic notification from us that requests a change to our bank account details, or directs payment to a new account, without first verbally verifying those instructions with us. You must confirm the details by calling our office on our established telephone number (not a number listed in the suspicious email) and speaking directly with your primary point of contact.

b. Client Payment Instructions: Similarly, if you instruct us to transfer funds or make payments on your behalf, we reserve the right to delay the transaction until we have verbally confirmed the payment details with you or your Nominated Authorised Representative.
